Our Story

Voices of Woolmer is the newest addition to our local community’s vibrant social scene. Founded on 26 February 2026, we may be a young choir, but we are growing fast! Our goal is simple: to bring people together through the universal joy of singing.

Who Can Join?

Short answer: Everyone. We are a true community choir, which means there are no auditions and no "minimum standard" required. Whether you’ve been singing in a professional capacity for years or your only experience is in the shower, there is a place for you here. If you can hum a tune and enjoy a laugh, you’re qualified!

Where to Find Us

We are proud to call Woolmer Green our home. You can find us rehearsing in the heart of the village at The Barn, tucked away behind The Red Lion pub.

Note: While we are based in Woolmer Green, our doors are open to everyone. We already have a fantastic group of members joining us from all the surrounding towns and villages!

What We Sing

Forget dusty hymns or complex classical pieces—we focus on music that gets your toes tapping. Our repertoire is a high-energy mix of Rock, Pop, and Soul, covering everything from the swinging 60s right through to the chart-toppers of today.
