Absolutely not. We believe everyone has a voice. There are no scary solo auditions or "voice tests." You just turn up and join in! 

No problem at all! Many of our members don’t read music and we do not work from musical scores.  We provide lyrics and recordings to help you learn the songs by ear. 

We focus on feel-good Rock, Pop, and Soul. You can expect anything from as far back as a 60s classics to modern-day hits. If it’s got a great rhythm and a bit of soul, we’ll probably sing it! 

We rehearse in The Barn, directly behind The Red Lion pub in Woolmer Green. It’s a fantastic space right in the heart of the village. 

We meet every Thursday evening from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. 

Yes, there is a car park at The Red Lion, and free on street parking if that is full. 

Not at all! While we are proud to be a Woolmer Green group, we have members traveling in from all the surrounding areas. Everyone is welcome. 

Nothing!! Zero!! Free!! We want the choir to be open to as many people as possible.  We realise that, for some, cost may be a barrier.  We are managing to keep our costs to a minimum (The lovely people at The Red Lion provide The Barn to us for nothing).  Whilst we can keep our costs to a minimum we will not charge you.  

Just yourself, a bottle of water, and most importantly, your enthusiasm! 

Definitely. One of the best perks of rehearsing behind a pub is that there is an opportunity to head into the Red Lion for a drink and a chat before and/or after the singing is done.
